• LEXAPRO 10 mg film-coated tablets, each containing 10 mg of escitalopram, are oval, white, notched, film-coated tablets with an "E" on one side of the notch on one side of the tablet and an "L" on the other.
• LEXAPRO is offered to the market in packages of 28, 56 and 84 tablets.
• LEXAPRO contains escitalopram. This drug is used in depression (major depressive conditions) and anxiety disorders such as agoraphobia (fear of open space) or panic disorder without agoraphobia, social anxiety (anxiety) disorder and generalized anxiety disorder, and obsessive-compulsive (obsessive-compulsive) disorder.

Pregnancy
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medication.
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or are planning a pregnancy. If you are pregnant, do not use LEXAPRO without discussing the risks and benefits with your doctor.
If you have used LEXAPRO in the last 3 months of pregnancy, you should be aware that the following effects may occur in your newborn baby: difficulty breathing, bluish skin, seizures, body temperature changes, feeding difficulties, vomiting, low blood sugar, rigid or loose muscles, excessive reflexes, tremors, restlessness, irritability, lethargy, constant crying, drowsiness and sleep disturbances. If your baby has any of these symptoms, contact your doctor immediately.
Be sure to tell your doctor that you are using LEXAPRO. Medicines such as LEXAPRO that you use during your pregnancy, especially in the last 3 months of your pregnancy, may increase the risk of developing a serious condition in your newborn baby called persistent pulmonary hypertension. This condition causes your baby to breathe more often and appear bluish. These symptoms usually begin within the first 24 hours after the baby's birth. If this happens in your baby, consult your doctor immediately.
If you are taking LEXAPRO during pregnancy, the medication should never be stopped abruptly.
If you notice that you are pregnant during your treatment, consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
Breast-feeding
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medication.
LEXAPRO is expected to pass into breast milk. It is not recommended to use LEXAPRO if you are breastfeeding, but you can use it if your doctor finds it appropriate after discussing the risks and benefits with your doctor.
