What is DERMOVATE and what is it used for?
DERMOVATE is a member of a drug group called topical steroids and applied to the skin. Topical steroids reduce the itching and redness of certain skin problems.
DERMOVATE is used to reduce the effects of inflammation in skin problems such as discoid lupus erythematosus (plaques usually seen in the face - a kind of skin disease), lichen planus (benign skin disease affecting the skin, skin appendages and mucous membranes), psoriasis hardly treated eczema.
