Side effects due to NSAIDs occur more frequently in the elderly. Elderly patients need particularly careful medical supervision and control. The risk of hemorrhage is higher in patients with disease history of the gastrointestinal system and in elderly patients. Especially if you are over 65 years old, you should inform your doctor of any unusual symptoms. NSAID use can lead to increased risk of heart attack or stroke. With high doses and long-term treatment, any risk is more likely. Do not exceed the recommended dose or duration of treatment (up to four days). If symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, weakness, speech impairment occur, contact your doctor. Serious skin reactions have been reported rarely in patients receiving NSAID therapy. Some of these skin reactions have resulted in death. In the first signs of rash, stop taking ALEVE® for signs of allergic reactions such as redness, swelling, itching, or other allergic reactions to secretory tissues (such as mouth, nose, organs). As soon as possible, contact your doctor. In case of anaphylactic shock such as difficulty breathing, face and swelling of the throat, immediate medical attention is required. If there is an unexplained weight gain or edema indication, contact your doctor immediately. If you have signs of nausea, fatigue, lethargy, itching, jaundice, tenderness in the upper right part of the abdomen and cold symptoms that may occur due to liver damage, stop the treatment immediately with your doctor. If you have ALEVE®, but are suffering from frequent headaches, consult your doctor for advice. As a general rule, the continuous use of painkillers can lead to permanent kidney damage, which is associated with a risk of renal failure, especially when a large number of analgesic active ingredients are combined. ALEVE® is a NSAID group drug that may have a negative effect on female fertility. This effect will disappear when you stop taking the drug. Please consult your doctor if these warnings apply to you, even at any time in the past. Use of ALEVE® with food and drink It is recommended that alcohol be consumed while using ALEVE®.

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using Pregnancy Pills. You can only use ALEVE® after consulting your doctor in the first six months of your pregnancy. ALEVE® should not be used in the last three months of pregnancy because of the risks of complications that may occur in the mother and child. If you notice that you are pregnant during treatment, consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately. Breastfeeding Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using the medicine. ALEVE® goes to mothers in low quantities. As a precaution, avoid using ALEVE® while you are breastfeeding your child. Use of vehicle and machine When using ALEVE® in high doses, side effects related to the central nervous system such as fatigue and dizziness may occur. In some people, the ability to react and use tools and machines may fall. These situations arise especially when used in combination with ALEVE® alcohol. In such a case, you may not be able to react quickly and directly to unexpected events. In such cases, you should avoid using any tools, tools or machinery.
